Music is so important

I wonder what sort of soundtrack JD Aliix's movie/series would have?

I wonder what sort of music I would play in my restaurant, and what music you'd all have in your establishments, or maybe the clarity of silence would be better for your goal?

...There's a song for that too! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4%E2%80%B233%E2%80%B3

Thank you, everybody, for sharing. I enjoyed listening to all the music. That House of Seraphim though...my God... Powerful and Beautiful stuff. In the beginning I felt like the male and female voices seemed to be competing a bit too much, slightly discordant. If the female voice was just a bit louder or the male voice a bit softer, or pushed a bit to the background it would’ve, harmonized perfect. Considering it was live it’s still amazing, love it. I guess that’s the sound engineer in me hearing what I’d do if I was mixing it. I don’t feel like I could necessarily call this music, after listening to that...but I’ll share anyways because it seems slightly relevant to the Superbeings happenings... Forgive me for my bad mixing, I don’t always get the results I’m shooting for.

Orchestral boss music from FF7

Love the suggestions Munus, that's how I approach food and games too, respectfully noting what could be done differently

FF7...maybe the best game ever made. The musical compositions throughout that game are amazing and riveting, the side quests fun and games integrated perfectly, the strategy and level of involvement needed to defeat the emerald and ruby weapons, the esoteric gems of knowledge dispersed throughout the gameplay, and the profundity of allegorical context make that game a true masterpiece...the only problem with that game is that it has to end...

That game could show how clouded our worlds have become...but sometimes, a cloud is exactly what the world needs to survive...Sometimes, the battles we fight for the world are really battles for our own worlds...and sometimes, the battles being fought over our own worlds are actually a battle for the world...Sometimes...

Sometimes, I feel like I should not be so analytical about music. It is subjective after all, but at the same time much of what we call music can be very objective the way it intertwines our worlds. The way a minor scale is perceived as sad or melancholy, and the same song on a major scale could be perceived as happy and joyous. In the orchestral compositions it’s the slightest shifts in color or timbre or progression that create this phenomenal tension, which is actually what makes the music more interesting and captivating. The way certain chords just come together perfectly to sound 'right' and good together, harmonious, and others always seem to establish discordant or disconcerting frequency. The mathematics of music is just so fascinating, the way it all adds up.

I am always searching for what I call those "magickal chord arrangements" that just do something really powerful to me. Many times I am looking for music that produces frission (chills) or I am looking for a type of feeling that might translate something unspeakably sacred. Something maybe like duende.

From Wikipedia: El duende is the spirit of evocation. It comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to art. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive.

The songs I crave are an invocation, an allowing of a certain feeling, which is both a little melancholy but also wildly ecstatic soulful and invokes either bliss or desire for a place or a time you have never this time ever been but feel you know with every fiber of your being.

This one captures it well. Sorry if I have posted this before. It conjures for me the desert at night sweeping wide open with sage and mountains in the distance and a open dark sky thronged with stars.

This is one of those songs that did that for me, what you explained.

Feel like I'm face to face with something IMMENSE with that song Mary

I’m fascinated by that feeling...the mechanism or function that causes it...it’s interesting because I research pretty much anything and everything but I’ve never looked much into that. Maybe I unconsciously feel like it’s beyond words and explanation.

I like the selections shared, thank you everybody. None of them did that for me yet. A buddy of mine tells me several songs I’ve made cause that, and I’ve noticed they sometimes do for me. But these two are almost certain to cause it for me, intensely:

Maybe this one will get the job done. I imagine pretty much everyone has heard it, though. Headphones, please.

I actually felt a surge from that Solar flares-Reborn. That was a pretty good one.

I am like that also Mary. We moved with my mother's family when I was a toddler to NW France when my father was in the Army. When we went to Mass, it was the Latin Mass and I remember hearing the cloistered nuns singing and I was transported somewhere. Years later and piano lessons, I am always looking for that chord or tune or tone that will transport me again but to much higher levels. I will check out all these links. And if you wanted to start a thread of all your knowledge about those Magickal chords, I would love to hear what you have learned. I follow some people who are firm believers in the 432 hz.

That Solar Fields - Reborn, is Awesome. My headphones didn’t do it much justice for me though! Unless you have the fancy circumaural neodymium audiophile headphones that I want so badly but can’t bring myself to spend that much money on a pair of cans, I recommend a good stereo system! Listening on the way to work on the Bose system in the Infiniti sedan, was fantastic.

i enjoyed listening to the man of steel there also.

Thank you for sharing.
